Verona, located in the Veneto region near Lake Garda, owes much of its cultural and artistic importance to its famous Roman amphitheater, the Arena, home to a host of annual events including the internationally renowned Lirico Areniano opera festival.
In summer, the Arena also hosts a series of non-classical concerts by both Italian and international artists, attracting an ever-larger and more variegated audience.

Because of its artistic, archeological and architectural wealth, Verona has been named a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Verona is also the setting of Shakespeare’s famous love story of between Romeo and Juliet. Visitors to the city never fail to visit Juliet's house with its famous romantic balcony in the historic city center.

Verona is easily reached from Molino del Pero Golf Club in about one hour and fifteen minutes. Take the A1 highway from Sasso Marconi to Modena, then onto the A22 Brenner Highway.
